Initial Evaluation
$100 for 90 minutes which includes the evaluation and a 30 minute session.
This evaluation ensures that we know all about you, your lifestyle with your dog, your dogs issues and medical condition, your vets recommendations and much more. You and your dog will also receive your first session based on the information gathered.
Please bring all health records including shot records, xrays, vet recommendation, video of your dog walking or performing a behavior you feel is not normal. Photos of your dog standing still from all angles is welcome as well.
The Initial Evaluation is required for TTouch, Bowen, Reiki, and Essential Oils/Salves/Herbs
Introductory Session
$35 for 20 minute Session
In this introductory session we will apply TTouch to your dog. Tellington TTouch is a specialized approach to the care and training of our animal companions. Developed by internationally recognized animal expert, Linda Tellington-Jones, PhD (Hon), this method based on cooperation and respect offers a positive approach to training, can improve performance and health and presents solutions to common behavioral and physical problems. It also helps establish a deeper rapport between humans and animals through increased understanding and more effective communication.
There are no prerequisites for the introductory session of Tellington Touch
Muscle Testing
One hour muscle testing to test all structural, hormonal/endocrinal and lymphatic systems.
Muscle testing can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a full hour depending on the ability for your dog to just relax.
Muscle testing is the major component for Trauma Clearing as this is the only valid method we've found to "ask" the dog about his past traumas. Trauma is nearly 95% physical and is rememberd physically more then mentally. Using muscle testing we can determine where trauma happened and how restimulative it is in present time.
Muscle testing is required before individual sessions can be started for Acuppressure and Pressure Point Therapy or Red Light Therapy.
Canine Emotional Detox
$500 if done at home - $1500 if done at the Oasis.
The Canine Emotional Detox is a 3 day program of intensive study and exercises. This program can be done by you at home with the assistance of one of our practitioners. You would video and photograph all the exercises that you do with your dog during these 3 days.
You MUST be with your dog 24/7 during these 3 days. If you can't, you can take advantage of our in house detox where we do the program here in a boarding situation. It acually takes 5 days for the in house program. The first day is for getting to know your dog and your dog getting to know us. The 5th day is set aside for complete relaxation of your dog and as much sleep as s/he needs.
A Functional Assessment must be done before starting this program. The activities and exercises done during the program will be related to the issues found in the Functional Assessment.
Functional Behavior Assessment
$50 per assessment
Hidden in the complex world of behavior science is a simple, often underutilized, fact that there is
never just behavior. Behavior never occurs in a vacuum or sprays out of an animal haphazardly like
water from a leaky showerhead, independent of conditions. Behavior always depends on the
environment in some way. Functional Behavior Assessment is the process of developing hypotheses about the
functional relations between behaviors and the environment. The hypotheses generated from a sound
Functional Behavior Assessment improves our understanding of behavior and our ability to predict it.
A Functional Behavior Assessment can be done before any service is started but is required before the Canine Emotional Detox.
Individual Sessions
$45 for 30 minute session
Individual sessions are billed at the start of the session. Except for the Canine Emotional Detox, all services are done in individual sessions.
Each session is documented with video, photographs and a diary of what occurred during the session. The documentation is evaluated before the next session is done and compared to either the functional assessment, muscle testing or initial evaluation.
